Who we are

COPPER manufactures FRP manhole covers, stainless steel drains and PTMT faucets in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. In this policy “COPPER”, “we” and “us” mean the business that operates this website. Our contact details are at the end of the policy.

What we collect

We collect information only when you choose to send it to us through one of two forms:

• Brochure request form: your name, email address, phone number, company (if you enter one) and the product whose brochure you want.
• Contact enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, company (if you enter one), the product you are interested in (optional) and your message.

When you submit either form, the address of the page you were on and the time of submission are recorded with it. We do not ask for payment details, government IDs or any sensitive personal data, and we ask you not to include them in your message.

Cookies, analytics and automatic data

This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics tools, and the fonts it uses are served from our own site rather than from a third party.

Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.

The contact section can show a Google map. It loads only if you press “Show map”, and only then does your browser contact Google, which is subject to Google’s own privacy policy.

Why we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and to send you the brochure you asked for.
• To follow up on your request about our products, quantities, sizes and delivery.
• To keep a record of the request, and to protect the forms from spam and misuse.

We rely on your consent, which you give by submitting the form, and on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. We do not use your details for automated decisions and we do not sell them.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are stored in Google Sheets, a service provided by Google, and brochure files are delivered from Google Drive. Google acts as a service provider that stores the data for us. If you give us an email address, a reply from us is sent through our email provider.

We share your details with other people only if the law requires it, or if you ask us to. Because these providers operate globally, your information may be processed outside India.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and brochure records for as long as they are needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle follow-up questions and keep business records. After that we delete them, or earlier if you ask us to.

How we protect it

The website is served over HTTPS and access to the sheet that holds submissions is limited to the COPPER team. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what personal information of yours we hold;
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
• delete your information; and
• withdraw the consent you gave when you submitted a form.

Write to us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Data Protection Board of India or the relevant authority under applicable law.

Children

This website is for businesses and trade buyers and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
